March 2026 Vedic astrology: Major transits and planetary events

โ€ข

March moves from Aquarius intensity into Pisces dissolution, with strong Shatabhisha and Purva Bhadrapada themes before the month closes with a major Rahu-Ketu axis shift.

March is not a particularly quiet month. The first half carries a strong Kumbha influence, with Mangal and Budha activating Shatabhisha while Shukra moves into Meena. Mid-month, the emphasis shifts toward Meena and Uttara Bhadrapada, bringing a more inward and reflective tone. The final week becomes particularly important as Shukra enters Mesha and the Rahu-Ketu axis changes signs.

March 2026 review

March begins with Kumbha thinking and Shatabhisha intensity, then gradually dissolves into Meena’s more internal terrain. The first half is about diagnosing problems, questioning assumptions and separating genuine insight from mental noise.

The Shukra-Shani Yuddha on March 8 is one of the month’s sharper relationship and value-testing moments. By March 15, Budha and Mangal meet directly, making words faster and potentially harsher. This is not a month where every thought needs to become a decision.

The bigger story arrives at the end. Rahu moves into Shatabhisha and Ketu into Magha on March 29, shifting the nodal axis and beginning a longer chapter around collective systems, identity, status, inheritance and detachment.

March therefore has a clear progression: diagnosis โ†’ dissolution โ†’ redirection. What begins as a month of analysis ends by changing the karmic backdrop itself.

As always, these are collective transit themes. Their actual expression depends on the individual Lagna, Moon, house lordships, planetary dignity and strength, nakshatra, Vimshottari Dasha and relevant Vargas.
